Panels, Online Forums and Research Companies differ from some Survey Companies, in the way they offer opportunities, usually less often and the amount offered per project is higher. Some panels could be on going or per project, depending on the need.

TIP: A number of companies use Internet Explorer for online chats, forums etc. If you don't use IE, you can open it and paste the link. Firefox users can get an add-on - IE View or Render in IE, it enables you to change to Internet Explorer when needed or specify sites to open in IE. Generally it works, if not copy and paste to IE.

Focus Forward Online - this panel offers great opportunities for paid research studies the pay and projects vary, are very interesting and fun. Listing now are from $50-$250 for various studies.

20/20 Research - conducts online and in-person focus groups. Participate in a focus group and be paid for your opinion.

Beta Research Panel - The research panel is free ... there are no costs to you at any time Through periodic surveys, you'll help shape the development of products, services and the media ... giving suppliers the feedback they need to serve consumers even better.

Chasen Research - A quality research company out of New York offering paid focus groups. Payment varies per project, generally $40 to $150, an "honorarium". Typical focus group is no longer than two hours, some may be shorter. Invitation will state payment and terms. I haven't received a lot of invites from this company, they are reputable and pay well for your time.

ithinkinc - Fun and interesting research/survey studies, I have done a couple for this company. The invitation will state the payment and amount of time required. Payment is made within a reasonable time after completion directly to you.
